Got my decals
I guess its all just a personal preferance
I like them. I am not a big fan of the badges on the trucks, but I think that is because I am so used to vinyl graphics because of being around my dad's sign/truck shop since I was little so they are just another graphic to me. However, with that being said, I like the contrast it brings to your badges and I would keep it how you have it.
All of that 72 hours that transferred is as a degree holder (associates of Science), I have a total of 91 hours from West Texas ATM, and Texas Tech; 60 of those hours are from Amarillo College (associates). Thus the GPA remains in effect for admissions purposes, had I gotten in I would have started clean slate. I have taken classes above and beyond what that degree calls for, even talked to the advisor for COCS and I was golden for admission on her end. Have 3 cousins and 2 uncles who graduated from the degree; 10+ letters of recommendation from former aggies. 2 of these men even visited the campus while at a FB game to give a good word. None of them could believe I was not accepted either. I'm even in the aggie network (I'm sure y'all are familiar with the "cult"); got the job I have now because I was going to be an aggie. He is one of the ones that cant fathom why the hell I did not get in.
All I'm going to say is somewhere along the way I got snuffed out by an idiot. I'll just go back to getting my civil/enviro engineering degree from Texas Tech.

In short... it pisses me off to talk about it, but in the end its all good to me. I'm on track to graduate with the top of my class; Never failed a class, never dropped a class and don't plan on starting now. Hopefully you guys have better luck with the Aggies than I did.

I'm not a big fan of the "Texas A&M Edition" on the fender badges. Like Jake said, though, if you like them then that's what counts. Keep them for a while and see what kind of comments you get around town. The ovals, on the other hand, I love. Gotta represent your school.

Living up to your Whiny Little B#$#@ name are you? I don't care for them, I happen to see your post and reply....

WLB, its criticism.....you post things on the internet in public it will be criticized. Positive AND negative. If you cant take the negative, dont post.
Now get to your room, so we can treat you like you deserve!
Gotta love it when people only like getting positive responses, because apparently everyone is supposed to like everything someone does.......like apple computers!!!

And Im still not decided on the "Texas A&M Edition". I might just get a set of maroon "Lariat 5.4 Triton" Overlays to use instead.
Getting in SHOULD have been no issue, I'm above and beyond their requirements, WAY beyond. I even got fed some BS that they now charge you out of state tuition for going over the required hours for your degree...

im in the same boat you are minus the top of my class. im ahead of schedule and havent dropped a class or failed one and other than registering for and getting into the classes on my degree plan ive had no problems with the system.
Best of luck at Tech.
i mean no disrespect to you FX4life and im sorry to hear about all of that. idk how it all works and what not but i was just trying to make the point that some think its all based on gpa at one school which is obviously not the case with you. seems like you have all your stuff in order so idk what happened.

ehhh, its all good! I really wanted that degree though; its something I'm very interested in and Tech's construction program is no good imo. You are correct about the GPA stuff if you are a non-degree holder. It gets somewhat easier when you are a degree holder; better yet don't jump around like I have and everything will be gravy. Plus you will be done if four years instead of 5 or 6 like me

If you are on a track like that (no failed/dropped classes) your going in the right direction! Think of it like this over 85% of college students graduate with a GPA below 3.0, majority of those are even lower between 2.5-2.7. I know this because it was my statistics 2350 semester project. If you can graduate above a 3.0, preferably above a 3.2; the job market is all yours!

On a side note there are some fine women in College Station
