Yep he is correct....... no FX4's come with the leather console lid. Not even the ones equipped with the luxury package do and they should IMO. My truck has the luxury package and the console lid matches perfectly with the seats as well.

Just found this pic, its an FX4 w/lux pack, smooth leather seats, steering wheel audio controls, FX4 carbon fiber, and a rubber console lid.

Saw this pic and was like "hey that looks familiar".

Yeah was gonna say my lux package didn't come with the leather console, but now I want one. It looks so much easier to clean/maintain...not to mention matches the seats so much better.

Well, if you decide to get one, here is the part # 5L3Z-1506024-AAC

Tasca wants 90.xx bucks for it, retail is 136.xx

That's not dirty, but this is. Since you have an 07, you have the same shifter tower as the LT's, so swapping in a leather Mark LT shifter handle is a simple bolt in. part # 5L3Z-7213-T $43.99 at tasca

If you get one, don't make the same mistake others have, DO NOT pry off the top cap, you'll ruin the handle. There is one screw under the button or trigger whatever you want to call it. It takes a T-15 torx bit. Get the button out, remove screw, pull off handle, replace w/new handle, replace screw, snap old button in place, its that simple.

i'm guessing since you pointed out that it's an easy bolt on for an 07 that it's more complicated for 04-05?

The 04-06 150's and the mark LTs have different linkage inside the shifter itself. The 150 style had the button slide inward equally from top to bottom, whereas the LT shifters button pivots from the top and swings in when pushed. Ford wised up and put the same mechanism in both trucks in 07.

If you put an LT handle in an 04-06 you either have to modify the shifter and/or handle to get to work, or swap in an entire mark LT shifter assy. A third option is put a leather wrap around your existing shifter handle.
