Angry Well it finally happened to me

As I was getting reading to head off to work this morning I rolled down my windows to clear off the dew on them. Well as the windows got all the way up I heard a pop and didn't think much of it but as I hit a bump in the road the drivers window fell into the door. I turned around headed back home called out for the day. Now heading to the dealership to get the damn thing fixed.

do it yourself, its super easy. if not, prepare to spend upwards of $450. I got the part brand new at the dealership for $103.

+1, very easy to do, there is a how-to on this website. That's how I did mine.

Last year I changed mine on my own. This year the front section would not come off. Had to take it to the Dealer and they even had trouble. Not sure what was going on with it. I guess I will have to wait until next year to see if it will be easy or not. With my luck, not.

OOPS WRONG FORUM, Sorry

Speaking of DIY, has anybody found any preventative maintenance that can prolong the life of these window regulators? Mine is making a grinding straining noise now instead of a slight squeal. Am I about to be the proud parent of a new replacement part.
