Problem since body lift?

Ever since I got my body lift put on my 06 xlt drive on my gear selector is just before the actual D on the selector. So when it is on D it is actually 2nd. I have read something about a cable extension, but I didn't have one so I need to know what to do?

I'm not familar with the 04-08's but on my truck there is dial adjustment under the dash to adjust the gear selector.

Well if its a reputable shop then they should have given you some kind of warranty right? If so take that ho back and get em to fix it. They should fix it thats just good business. That is unless you had your buddies install it in someones back yard, if thats the case I would take it to a 4x4 shop and get them to look it over anyway. Good luck.

I fixed it myself. All it took was a couple turns on the adjustment wheel under the bottom panel. Easy fix 5 minutes
