i need some opinions

alright so im starting to work on the engine now. It is the 4.6 and so far i have a php programmer and a cold air intake.

i need some opinions on:

what are good headers?
flex a lite or troyer electric fans?
high rise manifold?
any other engine mods you can think of would be great as well

I've heard good things on the troyer fans. You might have better luck breaking this down in the engine forum.

Do you have a cat back exhaust yet? True duals would be nice.

Troyer Fans most definitely, headers I dont know only long tube would do anything, Troyer also has underdrive pulleys, I know its not your engine but changing your gears woud give you alot of pep trust me I just changed mine to 4.30s and I absolutely love it, what kind of exhaust are you running

As far as I know there are no long tube headers made specifically for the 04-08 F150 4.6L. You may be able to get a mustang set, or an older set from a 97-03 to fit, but it may require some modification.

E-fans have gotten great reviews around here. Not sure if troyor has solved his controller problem (some of them go bad IIRC) but they're supposed to be a pretty good mod to gain some power back. Paired with Underdriver pullys you can gain some decent power.

I don't have much experience with this so I would consult with the guys in the engine forum about it. Some 4.6L mustang parts transfer over to the 4.6 f150 motor, but verify with more knowledgeable people before you start buying parts

This is a good place to start, after that you are getting into some custom parts. Supercharger is possible with modification, but a remote turbo setup like one from STS turbo is going to be the easiest set up.

Good luck with the build, keep us updated
