I am running recon strobes in my truck and my dad has them in his as well. They are the clear bulbs but have worked flawlessly. My dad had them in his 06 dodge and is about to put them in his 09 platinum f150. We have been running them for over a year and havnt had a problem yet. We got them from www.gorecon.com when they had a coupon code offered that made them 199.99. Now they are 299.99. It is a 90w kit and comes with 4 bulbs. You can upgrade to 6 though as the power supply has 6 slots. Mine are installed in my projector style headlights so the mounting was a little funny. That is why I got the wigwags too.

Led's are not near as bright as strobe lights though. If you want them for show they work fine. If you want them as functional lights then normal strobes are the way to go.

Ive seen them. The place I work for has a sister company that does all the installs for the police, sherriff, fire, ems, etc in our area. So when I get bored I mosey on over and play with stuff, lol. The LED's will last damn near forever, but they just arnt as bright.

Strobes are fun but just make sure they are legal for your purpose.

This has been a public service annoucment. Now returning to local scheduled programming.

cops around here use LED's, you can see them from a few miles away. when you get within 100 yards they are blinding.

Ya I go a 6 head 120w in my truck and love it. Everyone loves them at car shows. Thinking of getting that 4 head led setup. Keep us updated on the perchase op and the install

Strobes are fun? Uh, what?

And the only strobes that will be in a vehicle of mine are Whelen. A 6 outlett 90 watt kit with 6 screw in bulbs can be had online for $250.

What is the reason for installing the strobes?
