RCD Lift
I have a 6in RCD and I am selling my truck 2005 F150 4x4 Lariat. I am going to get the new Harley F150 Truck. I am wanting to sell the lift off of it if anyone is interested. I have pro comp traction bars and fabtech steering stabilizers to go as well. I want 1500 for the lift and 1800 for all of it. Just PM me if you are interested. This lift has awesome street manners and performs outstanding offroad. I never bashed on it and the powder coating still looks new and the shocks are still in great shape only about 20k on them and thats mostly all highway driving.
Why would anyone buy your used lift for 1500 when they can buy a new procomp or fabtech 6" for 1500. Name brand means nothing now, it's used. Used lifts are worth about 800 to 1000 depending on condition. And this should have been placed in the classifieds section, not here.
I agree with 05RedFx4. I would not pay that much for a used lift. When I can spend $1500 to $1700 for a brand new one right out of the box. Sorry man, but your price is a little high. Bring it down to under $1000, and you might have better luck selling it.
True but pro comp neither fabtech are worth anything.. they are cheap and don't hold up well at all.. been there owned one of each on past trucks. This RCD cost me 2600 plus 250 for steering stabilizers and 250 or so for my traction bars... So if my calculations are right that is 3100.. I'm only asking half of what I got in it
.. not to mention it is basically all in new condition

its still a used lift, 20k on it.
How can you say Fabtech is not worth anything ?
this should be a good one

idk why this isnt in the classifieds yet
Everybody seems to do the same **** on here and just dog people on everything and never really help anyone out which is what a forum is for.HELP!.. I am just tryn to get an offer for it cause Im not getting anything really for it at the dealership... If you can't afford it dont post... yeah and fabtech is garbage... the powder coat flakes off and starts to rust and the coilovers Blow.. Say what you want but RCD, BDS, and RIZE are the best hands down... I hated my fabtech because of the huge difference in front track width and procomp has just awful designs. And yes 20,000 miles and still looks and performs like new... I know you guys cant say that about any fabtech lifts on here if you actually used your truck as a truck and not as a mall hopper.
whoops...you got feedback that reeks of common sense.
and yes, you are blatently posting this in the wrong area.
our bad dawg. either way, you spent $3,000 for absolutely nothing. and as is always the case with mods...you won't re-coup but a bit of it
You'd be lucky to get $800 for that lift. A Rize could probably draw the $$$ you want. But not a RCD. All the Lift Kits are 90% identical with Rize being a standout among the croud.

and to be honest, if I heard it had 20,000 miles on there, I would just bump up the $300 for a brand new kit. used suspension pieces scare me
never know what that Mall Cruiser has done with them

1. You want someone to buy this USED lift, then post it in the classifieds NOT the truck sub section. (breach of terms when you signed on)
2. We are offering advice by telling you no one who knows anything about lifts will pay that much for a USED lift. The only people who will, are the ones who don't know their butt from a hole in the ground when it comes to lifts. And when we offer you advice on lowering the price you get upset cause it ain't what YOU wanna hear. Get off your high horse and listen to our ADVICE and you just MIGHT sell it.
3. Fabtech is not a garbage lift. If it was why is it that 90% of ALL lifted F150s run this lift?? Is it cause 90% of the owners are idiots (I think NOT) or could it be cause they are very good lifts for the price. It is a very good moderately priced lift. And I have 60,000 miles on my Fabtech, and with a little cleaning you wouldn't be able to tell if it was new or used.
4. Most people on here do use their trucks "as trucks", and as for the "mall hoppers" we have more money in our trucks than you could ever dream of making in a lifetime. These would be the Show Trucks of the site. And care more for the truck than to beat it up. Us "mall hoppers" have been there, done that, and got the T-shirt when it comes to using a truck "as a truck" as you stated. We just grew up. Which it appears you need to do.
5. You obviously don't know very much about the prices of suspension lifts. Which leads me to believe you bought that Pro Crap already installed on your truck from a dealer. Cause if you did know about lifts you would not be wanting $1500 for that USED lift.
6, 7, and 8. Trying to sell the lift/truck to a dealership. That is breaking the Golden Rule of selling a modified truck.
9 and 10 Thinking you were going to get a decent quote from a dealer.
(now that is funny)Tell ya what, I will offer you $2 for it. So, that I can install it on my 2 year old's Radio Flyer wagon.
Why on earth would you expect to get that much for a *U*S*E*D* lift? No one really cares who made it when they already know they can get a brand new one for the same price. I'm not into lifts, but I can definitely tell you your price is outrageous with regards to just purchasing a new lift.
Your logic is half baked at best. Listen to the guys who have lifts on this site and like they have already mentioned, you might just sell it.
