Well I just got a call from the salesman, he said that the truck has 3.55's. Kinda strange for what is basically the heaviest F150 that Ford makes, and also he said that the rear end had to be replaced when they got it in on trade.

Since it only has 3.55's there is no way that I am at all interested in that truck, even if the price was good.

I do too much towing and hauling for 3.55's, especially with my 325/60/18's.

Plus the wife 05 Focus is pushing 90,000 miles, so we are going to wait until she needs a new car and put the money towards that.
Dude, 3000 miles a year?.........You must be kidding!.....

This last year I only put on 2,8XX. The year before that was just over 3,000. The reason that I don't put many miles on the truck is because I have a company vehicle for my daily driver, also I have my 94 F150 for a beater. So the truck only gets driven on the weekends, and sometimes not even every weekend. There have been times, like in the winter, where the truck has sat in the garage for a month and never been started. This past winter it sat for almost 3 months and never moved, many because in the winter I use my 94 alot more since it already has a bad case of cancer, so I figure I might as well drive that on the salt covered roads rather than my good truck.

Ahh, I was just wondering. I have never dealt with Bloomer Ford, even though I drive by there quite often. EC Ford & Osseo mostly for me.

With only 3000 miles... have you considered selling your 04 and just driving the 94? If it works for you for most of the year why not all year to save money that you spend on the 04 in insurance/invest the money you get from the 04?

The 04 is paid for and also insurance is only $290 a year. Plus my 94 is only a reg cab, it is also a stick, and with our daughter in a rear facing car seat it doesn't work every well. Plus the 94 only gets used in the winter or and a few odd times through the rest of the year, heck I think I only put 1000 or so miles on it last year. The only reason that I even started looking at different trucks is because the wife would like a crew cab, granted yes is would be nice. But my 04 will do just fine, plus I like I said, its paid for, so it isn't costing me anything to have it sitting here.

Also this year it will probably get more miles on it that it has in the past, we have been using it alot more since there is more room than in the wifes Focus.

I tow about 204 times a year on a 16hr trip round trip and my truck pulls my trailer find but then again it would be the weight I'm not towing more than 3000lbs.

You tow alot more often then me, I am only towing 2-3 times a month in the summer. But I tow alot heavier than you do. 3000 lbs is pretty light for me, the only time that I see that weight is if we are taking the 4 wheelers out to go riding, which is not near often enough. Otherwise I am usually in the 6-7000lbs range and 1-2 times a summer 9-10,000lbs. Hence the reason that I won't buy a truck with 3.55's.
