Problems with turn signal switch

Hey all. Bought my F150 last christmas. After buying it I noticed that the headlights would flicker when the turn signals would auto cancel. But only when cold. Once the cab warms up, the problem goes away. I also added hids with lower current and no effect. So I replaced the switch and all was well. Now its getting into the 40's at night and in the morning I'm starting to have the same problem again. In fact, I had the AC on today with the left drivers vent pointing at the steering column and it happened. Do I really need to replace this switch once a year???
