Leveling Kit Install

What should I expect to pay to have a leveling kit installed +/-? I would supply the kit.
Also, what brand do you all recommend? I am thinking 2" or 2.5" Hell Bent.
My truck is an '06 with 20" Rims.

Thanks,
Steve

I would say a couple hundred for the install. The hell bent is a pretty good kit, I haven't heard any complaints about it. If you have some mechanical knowledge then do the install yourself. I did mine in the drive way with basic tools!

All leveling kits are pretty much the exact same thing. A very simple solid spacer which is mounted to the top of the strut.

The AutoSpring spacer comes in a variety of sizes and is the LEAST EXPENSIVE of them ALL. it is a mere **** $65 **** shipped to your front door via eBay. Why ANYONE would pay more is beyond me, yet there are folks here dumping 80, 90 over 100 dollars on a simple a** spacer. Obviously, they just didn't know about the AS spacer, or didn't know enough in general.

There is absolutely no benefit to using a different brand spacer. They don't move or do anything else. They are just bolted to the top of the strut, that's it!

I installed the 2" kit on my truck and run the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's in the 305/55/20 size (it's a 33.8" tire). I took ~2.5 hours to install with my airtools, not including the time it took to run to Autozone to rent a 30mm socket.

hell bent steel is a gr8 kit .. i have one and have installed a few others for customers
one on the main reason to go with them is they come power coated ..think i paid 69.00 bucks for it through their site and free shipping

i think some the other brands charge a fee to powder coat

I'm going to do it, but I still need to decide if 2" or 2.5" is better. Should I just measure the difference from ground to wheel well? Hell Bent Steel only seems to offer 2.5". I cannot find the AutoSpring Spacers on eBay that rms8 referred to.

I bought the ReadyLift one before I found this Gem of a website where someone is getting rid of one of their kits weekley. Ha

Its really not a hard thing to do yourself, just read up on here before you tackle it in your driveway. Im going to agree with everyone else here and say 2hrs to install max. But if you were to get it installed elsewhere id say bout $200 maybe less for a shop to do it.
