Belltech shackles

has anyone bought belltech 2 inch lowering shackles. just wondering if they come with the shims.. i wanna buy from summit the customer rep said that when using belltech on ford they require no shims.. is it true?

A high percentage of the guys who install lowering shackles without shims end up with some driveline vibration. Save yourself the hassle by getting the Ground Force shackles that already include the shims -- you won't regret it.

I would not buy from someone that says you don't need the shims on a Ford. Sounds as if he doesn't have them to sell. If you have the 2 piece driveshaftthat some Supercrews have, you may not need the shims. I have the two piece and I still installed the shims. Just makes common sense to keep the pinion in it's original alignment. As said above, just get the Ground Force kit. You will be way ahead and it's not many dollars we are talking about.

That's ludicrous. There's nothing different about Belltech that would allow them to operate without shims if they need them. I have a set of Belltech and they don't come with shims
