F150 lug nut torque?

I just read on a chart that my 04 f150 should have a lug nut torque of 150lbs? Is this true? I always thought it was 100lbs?

Now the question is...

How many people actually pull out the torque wrench and torque to 150lbs?

Me, nope, #2 on the impact driver.

I do, but I don't have any air tools either.

I manually check the torque setting. If you don't evenly torque them it can lead to gradually warping the rotors.

After killing a wheel on an old car I torque every lug on any car I work on.

It's not just for the rotors, but also the studs. Over torquing the studs can stretch the threads. On out trucks it's no biggie to replace the studs, but mess one up on a fwd foreign car and it'll cost you $138 to replace.

Got my wheels & tires from Discounttires.com. The torque is 150lbs. I check air pressure & torque once a month with a torque wrench.
