Security Question?

My house was broken into last week and in the process my spare key and fob were stolen. Does anybody have any ideas that I can use to protect myself from having my truck stolen? Does anybody know how expensive it would be to rekey the truck?

i think the keys go for about 60 bucks a piece cause of the chip, you'll prob need a new ignition, or just get a kill switch put on the truck

You can buy a new fob and have it and the old one programmed to your truck, then the stolen fob will not work any more. The just get a new lock cylinder for the door. That way if they come back for your truck, they can't get in with the fob or the key.

Get it done soon, there is a guy in kansas who the same thing happen to him and they came back a week later and got the truck.
