? about idle

i have a question just seemed like it starting happening say im doing 55mph and let off to coast the rpms stay around 1500 just seems like its idling high what could the problem be? when i let off the gas what should it idle at i have a 04 ford f150 with 5.4 3v, jlt intake, sct tuner, banks exhaust, just hit 76,000 miles and have not changed the fuel filter or spark plugs i can adjust my neutral idle with the programmer i dont know what its set at should i adjust it?

I never study what rpms are supposed to be at while coasting.. doesn't seem to be a big deal, only at a stopped idle, but I see no reason to raise it unless your running e-fans.

I considered raising mine 50rpms just for a cooler sounding exhaust note, never have & probably wont though.

It is not a problem, unless you are in neutral. With the torque convertor locked up and in gear, you should get about the same rpm as what it was when you had your foot on the gas.

The normal 600 - 700 cold, high 500s - mid 600s warm.
