Question Steering Help!!!

2004 F-150 FX 50,000 miles power steering feels like it is going in and out. Steering wheel is very sticky, about every 15 Degrees is feels like it is hitting a stop and sticks.. No pump leaks visible, no loss of fluid, all belt working, no pump noise other then what is has had since the day bought new. annyone experience this and or have any ideas what is going on .HELP!!!

Lube your steering shaft joints on the steering column under the hood. There are 2 of them, upeer joint is right next to/under the brake booster, and the other one is lower down the shaft just before it enters the steering rack. Get the joints lubed up real good and work the wheel back and forth to get it in there. Your problem should go away.

What product would you recommend to lube the joints??

WD-40, PB Blaster, or a spray on lithium grease.
