Factory alarm sensitivity after battery change

Changed my battery, now even the rain sets off the alarm. what do I do to correct this? This is an 05 extended cab stepside. I bought it used, so I beleive this is the factory alarm since it's activated by the factory remote. I don't have the owners manual for this truck, but found one for an 07. The 07 manual has an eleven step process for resetting the alarm, but I can't find the button I'm supposed to push to get the whole thing started.

For someone to help, they will need more information. What year of truck, if it's supercrew, super cab, King Ranch, that type of info. Also, is it truely a Ford factory alarm or could it be a dealer added alarm? Post a little more info and possibly someone can assist you.

Oh, and welcome to the site!

Here's a link to download a PDF of the 2005 Owner's Manual. I have it saved on both of my laptops to reference whenever I need it. I don't know that it references anything about resetting the alarm, though.
