It would flat out run circles around my Supercrew. Wasn't even a competition. Off the line, my FX4 was the quicker. But once that Hemi got to 2,000 RPM it was like a rocket.

If I were ever to line-up against a 5.7 Hemi again, I'd demand a race from a stop. That way you can sorta negate the HP advantage at first. They are exactly like a car. No fun until you hit the RPM's.

Something is wrong with your buddies truck. A 5.7 Hemi Reg Cab truck is fast as hell. Even with his 4 speed tranny.
I'm not sure about something being wrong with his truck. It's an 05 with under 30,000 miles on the odometer but who knows.

If yours is a single cab, you're weighing in at 4750 lbs and with your edge you're running about 320 hp and running around a 15.1 sec 1/4 mile.

You should run door-to-door or slightly better. If you're a supercab, then yes, it would be surprising for you to win.
My truck is a supercrew. We're redoing the race this friday from a dead stop but i'll have my stock tires back on though.

It's got a 5.4L, 35's, 3:73's, AirAid Intake with a K&N and Magnaflow Exhaust. ( No Programmer ) YET!

And I ran a 1/4 of 16.49 secs @ 88.94 mph with a raction time of .43 sec

0 - 80 mph 13.89 sec with OD OFF.

With OD ON ran a 17.54 sec 1/4 @ 80.76 mph

0 - 80 mph 17.19 secs

So even if he slowly passed you at 103 mph. In the 1/4 you still had him beat!
True!

Ive been wondering about this match up recently. I know a guy who has a 05 Ram quad cab with a hemi, intake, and dual exhaust. I have a 04 scab, with troyer xcal3, af1 intake, and muffler delete. Im a little scared to talk to much junk to him cus i think he might have me

N/A truck against N/A truck...the Hemi will win

You are going to need a Reg Cab against a Quad Cab to get a "fair" matchup.

once the Hemi hits the RPM's...it is gone.

Please tell me you're running 91 or better octane if you're on Level 3 with your Edge module. Just want to make sure you won't "hurt" your vehicle.

Nice to hear you did well in the head to head run.
