I have been looking for a set of leather seats for my scab for months now, at this point I don't care how it looks! If you even look at the flint colored cloth seats on these things they stain.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they change the build of the seats after 2005? Will still mount the same, just different materials etc?

Black leather would look great. The FX4 mixes black and grey well IMO, making your own FX4-esque interior would look fine. I have FX4 pics if needed.

i think they used a grey leather (color of the flint) in some fx4's that they used lighter interior pieces in.

they also had a almost white leather used on some lariats. i never knew this until i saw a kids truck one night at a party. wasn't a big fan of it at all

Close, black cloth was standard in FX4's, gray cloth was optional and so was black sport leather and gray sport leather.

Also, the lariats had a black interior w/ gray leather seats option in 04 only, pretty rare.

I did the an entire Lariat interior swap on my XLT(minus door panels, headliner, & carpet), was pretty easy. I did have to have the rear back rest modified because the new leather was out of an Lariat which had the rear armrest; my XLT did not. Upholstery shop charged me $50 to sew in a new piece to cover the hole. Here are a few pics. There is more in my gallery under "Interior Swap"
