Factory Navigation

Found an OEM factory nav/cd player that apparently goes right into the truck, was pulled out of an '08. Does anyone know if this is plug-play and is compatible with Sirius and my aux plug? Truck's also an '08, lariat, and I have the steering wheel controls.

i put one in my '05 and it can be plug and play. for your '08 it might be 100% set up for it. but my '05 was not. I had a install the vss wires to the cluster and the steering wheel controls. It wasnt even an option till 2007.
Do you already have a Sirius module? if so does it have a "T" for termination on the part # sticker?

It's already set-up for Sirius, so yes it does have the Module, and I have never had the bezel off so I don't know any of the numbers behind there. All I know that I have now is the 6-CD MP3 changer with the Aux jack on the dash, Sirius, and the steering wheel buttons.

when you start your install or open the dash to venture around, could you do me a favor?
look at your Sirius tuner, it should look like this.....

if it does in fact have the "T" on it. can you measure the resistance btw pins 15, 16. They are the bottom left if the button is on the top. (long story why)

I'll probably wrestle to get the bezel off tomorrow. Seems like a son of a B... lol. I just went outside and tried it, and gave up out of fear of breaking it. I should be able to use the same one, correct?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...fAudioQ5fVideo

That's the one in question. has the pn right in the add.
