I had known about Odyssey batteries for years but only learned recently that Sears carried them under the Platinum label. I bought my P2 shortly thereafter!! Going to the local Sears saved me from driving to a truck center about an hour away for an Odyssey labelled battery! I will be buying the Platinum Marine battery for the boat in the spring.

 

Right on ...and Oddesey's (Sears Platinum P1's) still use 99.9% pure virgin lead

my buddies optima died on him in like 15 min when we were all out in the desert at night. he had his stereo on and HIDs and what not but still thats a garbage battery. My costco battery works just fine never had any problems
