Easiest maintenance ever. Thnk u f150online

With a quick look at the fuel filter change thread it was off and new one on in just under five minutes. That's even with taking a few sips off the Bud Select!!!

Oil change w/6" lift was so much easier!!! Good thing the last guy didn't tighten the oil filter w/strap wrench or anything, came off by hand. If I didn't heat the oil up by running the motor I woulda been done w/fuel filter and oil change in under 30mins!!!

Decided to run some Prolong w/the engine oil just for kicks n grins. Even filled out the engine warranty card and will send it in. Next payday the differentials are getting new fluids.

Due to this site I just did that on my rear. I'm going to do my front next week......One thing I always go mixed reviews on is adding or not adding the friction additive from ford so I said what they hell and grabbed a bottle and added it with Royal Purple, guess it can't hurt.

I picked up Royal Purple from pep boys who carries it in my area. After the front gets done time to tackle the spark plug change...

I just poked around the search section:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/se...archid=2997930

and also caught a show on my tivo, Motorz, which was helpful:
http://www.motorz.tv/blog/1110/ford-...-installation/

I used Red RTV for my gasket, applied bead around lip, circle screw holes, hand tighten till RTV came out of sides, let sit for 45 min then tighten down with ratchet.

You had better luck than me then.

I only got one drink in. Sit it down on the driveway and kicked it over when I crawled underneath to change my fuel filter. :o

Funny you mention that,,,,,,,I was gonna add a line at the end of my last post stating something to the effect that I want to tackle the plugs. However, I am skeered poopless to even attempt it.

MXracer: Sorry for your loss, I'll drink a cold one in your favor tonight for ya. Haaaaaaaaaaaaa
