22 and 24 inch wheel pics

Please post pics of your 2004-2008 2WD with 22 and 24 wheels. Also any suspension mods you may have. What size wheels and tires. Trying to decide what I want to go with.

Thanks!!

22"x9.5" black Boss 313 wheels on 305/40-22 Yokohama Parada Spec-x tires. I have a Ground Force 2"x4" drop (GF9949, coils and leafs) with Eibach dampers at the corners.

Nice! Do the FX2's sit lower than regular 2wd's from the factory?

I have an XLT. Some of the later FX2's came with a 1" block in the rear for some reason, the rest are the same height as the other 2wd's.

There is a 24 inch wheel thread to look at. I have 24's with 293/35 tire and a eibach 2/5 drop and eibach damper like stealth does. I have to say the looks of 24's can't be beat (unless you have 26's ) the practicality os 22's can't be beat. You lose a lot of MPG's with 24's

sorry forgot a close up pic.

Yeah, I like having some rubber on my rims, makes for a smoother ride.

Do you have a link to the thread with the 24's? I searched and didn't come up with much. I agree with the above statement. I do construction for a living and believe the 22's with more tire will benefit me. I am still torn though.

keep them coming please.

4-6 drop on 24's with a 275-30-24 tire i wouldnt advise this size the best size for 24's is a 295-35-24 i had this size to begin with but my truck was to low for that size it rubbed all the time so thats why i went with the 275-30-24's

Here's mine with 22's and a 2" rear shackle drop -- lot's more pictures in my gallery:

FWIW -- my rim and tire set-up (mint in every way -- less than 1500 miles on them) may be on the market soon. I picked up a new set of Roush 20's that I plan on putting on the truck once I get around to having them shod with rubber.

what size tire do you have? I have some wheels picked out but we may be able to work out something if I decide to go that route. Email me Allyn@trilogysinc with any additional pics.
