Driver Window Problems
First off, I figure that my problem is the regulator. But, before I bust into any work I wanted to post on here and see what you guys thought about it.
My window has been doing this all summer, now but it still is working. When i press the button to go down it always works. When i press to go up sometimes its completely unresponsive, sometimes it hesitates for a few seconds then rolls up, sometimes it rolls straight up. There are times where I have to press the button 2-3 times before the window will actually start to roll up. Usually once it starts to roll up it will go completely, but there are a few times where it will stop while the button is still held down.
Is this the regulator? If so how much is it going to run me, and I have quite a bit of knowledge of working on vehicles, is it something I can replace on my own?

Just my .02 but I have had to fix numerious switches for the same thing. The contact inside actually bends a little and is not making contact like it should. If you have a warranty still then just have them replace it but there is a possibility of the issue coming up again. You can fix it for free. If you remove the switch and pop the top off the rocker switch you can see the contacts inside. If you take a thin flat screw driver you can actually bend the end of the tab back to its proper position.
