So i just bought the 40 series muffler, 2 clamps, and a downturn pipe. My friend is going to clamp on the exhaust today. Is there anything else I need...he said i probably should get a hanger too?

-1 for dumped. It will never have the quality sound as a setup with tips.

im dumped with a super 44, i like it and its much cheaper than tips that are just gonna chip or rust

i cut my buddies cats out on his z71 a few weeks back, driving it back to my house to weld up the new pipe was AWESOME but there is no way in hell you could ever have a conversation. once i got the pipe welded in, the inside noise is not bad at all, outside its loud as **** with 2 flowmasters.

I'd get those turndowns welded on..

I had mine clamped and they both fell off.

I just left them off though cause I liked the sound better.

Agreed. Brings a dump truck feel with it too.

My main issues with the dump were the fume build up when sitting still and the drone on the highway. Other than that, it's a decent option if you're looking for cheap and loud.
