Changing the switch is a piece of cake, just grab the switch panel on the door and yank upward, it pops right off. Under the panel is the screws that hold the switch in place. 5 minute job tops, 2 if you don't stop to drink a six pack between each screw.

No, the driver's side has four switches in one. You'll have to buy the whole thing. Another option is to just pull it apart and clean the contacts. They seem to suffer a carbon build up over time. I cleaned the 2 contacts on my passenger side switch and it works. It's not perfect, it's still has issues every now and then, but it works far better than before I cleaned it and it was free.

I think the drivers door window switch is all one unit, you have to replace the whole thing.

Where in the buckeye state are you? If your in N.E. Ohio, we're having a meet on Sunday over in Independence.

Here is the part your looking for.

I had the same problem with mine....took the switch out of the door, took the actual switched off the main bock, cleaned the connections and blew it all out with a compressor, popped it back in. Worked like a charm and hasn't stopped since.

If your not busy sunday, why don't you swing on over. We even got someone coming in from Erie PA. We got about 15 late model 150's coming, everthing from a lowered FX2 to a 4x4 lariat with an 8" rize rollin on 37's. If your interested, read this thread, it has a map to the location and time. Hope to see you there.

I took the block of 4 switches out last night and you fellas are right very easy to get loose and take apart. I was going to try and pop the cover off the switch i dont know what to call it but he part that your finger is in contact with but did not want to break it if it was going to be a few days b4 i can get a new one well i now know where another is i can get for 50 bucks its just a matter of going and pickin it up but i was going to see if there is a right or wrong way to pop that cover off so you can see the contact points. Do i just grab on and hold on and hope for the best?

Here is JackandJanet's write up on repairing the LED's in the switches. It tells you how to take them apart:

Reparing Lighted Switches

The contacts I've circled in red, below, are the ones that get the carbon buildup. Just clean them off, maybe use a nail file or a fine sandpaper. The carbon is really stuck on there, I was using the tip of a screwdriver to clean it off. Once you clean that up, they should work much better.

What I was talking about was the rockers switches on the top. You just take a small flat headed screw driver and pry out the side of the rocker switch just a little, all you are trying to do it get it over a little tit that is holding it one.

I think i'm gonna try this as well.... on my driver side window, it will roll down fine with no problems... but trying to go back up it may go up first try or 15 tries later
