thinking of powdercoating my moto metals.

hey guys just wanted your imput on some ideas i have, today i painted the rear wheel wells and my exhaust tips black and it finally pushed me over the edge to wanting to finish the blacked out them. so since i know a couple of people in the powdercoat and paint business i was thinking of getting my wheels done entirely black, what do you think?

also i think tomorrow im going to try and paint my step bars black and if it doesn't hold up i might just get them done as well with my bull bar. opinions?

here is the truck as of this afternoon. and im parked on a slant causing the sag in the rear look.

When I decide to ditch all my chrome, getting my wheels powder coated crossed my mind. I wonder if it will fade after a year?

On your truck its a tough decision, because it will look great either way you choose. If I had to vote though, I would go black on everything and keep the wheels the way they are.

I wouldn't change a thing... The black and polished combination of your wheels makes it stand out and not blend in with the tires...

I don't know how the rims would look all black, I just don't know that it would have the same look. If I were you I would look for different rims in all black instead, cost more yes but it may look better in the end

i would PTM your flares first, paint light bar and running boards black, maybe do the wheels w/ where the black is now (just the tiny lines) in the monster green to match your fx4 sticker.

ive been meaning to grab a photo for you, theres an identicle truck to yours but an f250 right down the road from me.

yeah i'm fairly sure im going to paint the step bars and bull bar either way, that's a neat idea about the green but i don't know if ill go that far, or even keep the monster stickers for too much longer. ha i'd like to see that f250

How about black chrome on the wheels? I'm not much on the flat black look myself.
