I live in SoCal and I'm looking to purchase a Saleen F-150 new or pre-owned. Any recommendation of a dealer for that sort of transaction?

I do not think you will be able to find a new one since they have not and will not make one of the new body style (09-11). If I am not mistaken, Saleen is out of business to preowned is the only way you can go. With that said, I remember seeing one on ebay motors last week.

Thanks for that info. I've notice also that Saleen is not producing vehicles any longer but Roush could possibly have gobbled them up! I found a 2007 Black Roush version of a F150 in LA. It's a strange configuration as a full four-door, lifted instead of lowered but completely equipped. It bears the No. 007 but doesn't have the 'Nightmare' dress kit. Galpin Ford is asking $37,XXX and it has about 9,700 miles on it. I believe I had seen that numbered edition as a Press car. Not sure. The ones I see on eBay are all a bit too racey for a 62 yr-old. Except for a real Roush in TX but its only a 2-door.
Thanks again!!

Finally I am in...but not that happy

I got them on. I finally got my Nitto NT 420S tires in 305 40 23 and I LOVE THEM. They have to be one of the coolest tread patterns out there in my opinion. However my wheels are all 30 offset and my front wheel sticks out....Damnnitt

Wow, that is one nice looking truck pshatt01. I see what your concern is with that front wheel/tire combo. I often wonder if a low profile tire though, is the right look for a truck. But the Saleen or even FX2 looks nice with them.

Not happy about the front wheel sticking out but I guess I am going to have to live with it. I am hoping when I get around to the 2/4 drop it might help a little bit. Crossing my fingers.

EVERYONES TRUCK LOOKS SHARP!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!! I would love to get them but I was going with the more off-road type of look but who knows? i wonder if they make a tire that is 35" tall or close to that for a 23" rim cause i could work with that then!!!

look on Ebay (I just checked there is only like two wheels available and you need 4), check the 4 sale section of this site there is a member here selling his. It may be tough now to get a set brand new but you may still be able to find them out there. I have the original Saleen setup (44mm front 30mm back). I went this route b/c I put my stock wheels back on in the winter. If you want to rotate your wheels like many you need to find 4 44mm wheels or 4 30mm wheels. The 44's may sit in a little more. I'm running the Continental tires (same tires Saleen used) but I don't think you can get them anymore, but check around.

I had my wheels powercoated and then had to take them to a guy who does hand striping and he matched the paint exactly to the truck and did his thing. I hope this helps, if not shoot me another email and I will answer any questions you have.

Also guys don't forget (this is optional) that you will need 4 new bands and 4 sensors for these wheels (TPMS) and lugs and center caps. I did't want to bootleg my truck so at the time I bought bands, sensors and lugs from Saleen which was a little costly if I remember. If you go this route you will also need to program the new sensors to your truck. I bought the tool off of Ebay for $20 with the instructions and it has worked for me but not for some.
