So I saw an add on craigslist from a guy I had got my mickey thompson tires from....He had a set of Eagle Alloy 102s for sale,well not having any $$ I asked if hed take any trades...I offered my superchips programmer and got the wheels with some tires on them...anyways my idea was/is to clean em up and get them powdercoated...either the inside black with the entire lip chrome, completely black(with lugs, center cap, and little screws chrome), or back and lip black with small rim chrome. So now im not sure if I should go with the new wheels & sell the ones I have or keep the ones I have and sell the wheels I got and do something else?

What do you guys think?

 

 

IMO i think all black would look nice, however , if you'r having a picture of them i can photoshop it for you

 

I did a quick photoshop of the back painted with chrome lip...and another with all black

 

i like black lip with chrome insert. looks original.

So I finally got these wheels mounted on the truck and I have to say I do like the look of em a little more than the others. I know they arent as flashy but these are going to be black soon ;-) Not sure if I should go matte black/semi-gloss or gloss black. anyways heres an updated pic(cell phone for now)

I think they look great. Just a warning, my friend has those exact wheels, and well he doesn't take care of them like he should probably and they don't shine to much anymore. I would make sure and keep polish on them, I'm sure those are the super finish. I detail mine just about everytime I wash my truck.
