Thumbs up Wiper chatter fixed!

Just recently my drivers side wiper was chattering so bad across the windshield I did not even want to use the wipers when it rained! I cleaned the windshield with Bon-Ami,Rain-X,and used 303 wipes on the wipers to no avail.I even installed new wiper blades. Finally,I asked my Ford tech friend his opinion and he told me to tweak (bend) the wiper arm just a bit towards the windshield.Guess what.......no more chatter!

Cool, I'll have to try that on mine. The wipers have sucked since new, mostly the drivers side.

I see you have an 08 F150.Check your owners manual under the warranty section and see if it reads that Ford will replace the wiper blades "FREE" for the first 12 months, unlimited mileage in that 12 months.I had mine replaced free back in Dec. 07.

My truck is fine, but I know another vehicle that needs this tweak.

I had that with 2 pairs of wiper blades but changing them to the rain-x high end wipers fixed it for me.
