Bed Extender Installed

Picked up an Amp Research bed extender from craiglist for $100. It didn't come with the mounting brackets (it was off a chevy anyway). Spent the afternoon fabbing up a pair of mounting brackets out of aluminum. I think they turned out pretty good for flying by the seat of my pants. Pictures are in my gallery or just click here, here, here and here.

I like that, am I correct in assuming you can take it on and off easily? Like if you wanted to put a 4 wheeler in the bed and hold it in place with the extender, it would be easy to do?

Yes, I can easily take it off and put it back on. The brackets are hard mounted (removed the tail lights to bolt them on). The bed extender will come off in seconds.

Looks good, I like the placement of the Mag-lite.

Others have liked the mag lite placement as well. I find it quite handy and it is really secure. It never wanders.
Thanks.
