I have an 05 FX4 with the 18" rims and tires. I've found a guy locally selling a set of 20" OEM rims w/tires for $400. That's a pretty good price as I've seen them go for $700+ in the classifieds. I've been debating going with the OEM 20's or aftermarket rims when the time comes, but the price on these is awesome. I could either:

a) buy these rims, and sell my current 18"s with tires, hopefully breaking even.

or

b) buy the 20's and turn around and sell them for more, pocketing the cash.

I think I'm leaning towards a), but I'm not sure how quickly/easily I can sell my 18s for that price.

Opinions?

 

tough choice... I'd prob say A... what shape are the 20's and the tires in... 400 does sound pretty cheap unless the guy is just trying to get rid of them...

You'd like to think you could get at least 300 for yours.. which 100 dif isn't that bad... Just know if you gotta buy new tires for the 20's they will be a lot more expensive than 18's...

And another reason I would say is you can get these 20's pretty cheap and then you could buy a new set of 20" tires down then road and then buy a set of aftermarket rims... that way you wouldn't have to buy new set of rims and tires...
