I use the back seat all the time and they're quite worn. I have 2 car seats back there for the kids. I'm not sure if grey is the colour in my truck (2005 FX4), but if it weren't so cost prohibitive, I'd take them and throw them in my truck.

Heck, if the front ones were power/memory, I'd take those too! ... But, I'm guessing you still need those.

My rear seat gets used a ton, always have people back there it seems. Hell, it gets used so often and the rear windows are used enough that my passenger rear window fell into the door today. Yeah, a Scab with a rear window regulator failure...when was the last time that happened?!?

And I have ridiculous amounts of stereo equipment too.

I am trying to find a rear bucket seat. I took out my passenger bucket seat to put my sub box there. Now I want to move it to the middle and have 2 bucket seats on either side.

Well, of course I'd imagine their would be "somebody, out there somewhere" who actually uses their rear seats in their S-Cabs and S-Crews often....
I just almost NEVER see it when I'm driving around town.

And even if EVERY other S-Cab and S-Crew had 3 passengers across the back EVERY time I saw one, mine would still be the one that NEVER had anybody in the back seat.
Heck, I wouldn't even WANT anyone in my back seat (if I had one).
In all honesty, I have a pretty hard-core case of AADD. And while I have a perfect driving record, with zero tickets or accidents, that is almost certainly ONLY because I'm usually driving by myself. Put a passenger with my, and my driving skills go to $#!+

BTW, I was looking at the seat cushions and building a couch might be kind of a *****, as their is nothing to connect the top and bottom cushions, or the left and right cushions....

Peace,
Fish

I guess different people have different needs, my truck is usually packed on weekends, and its always nice to know I have the rear seat if needed, and i tuck the 60% seat up when filling with the groceries and im good.

guess nobody here has actually taken out the back seat. Not so easy as to just throw it in the back and use it. You'd have to wield up a frame for the base and back to stay together. Double fun if it's a split seat. Possible yes but a bit of a PITA.

Course I have been thinking of pulling out my passenger seat for all the equipment I use during the storm season. Plans to add plenty more for next season.

Hey Chris, where you located? Did you say leather or cloth? Won't go with my interior, but baby girl has a white '04 with grey interior. Let me know and how bad you want to get rid of, if your serious.

I do wish that Ford still made the rear seats so that they would fold down flat like they did in the S-cabs of our 94 F250 and 99 F350, I really liked being able to fold them down and have a hard flat surface in the rear of the cab. But then Ford for some reason decided to change and make the rear seats so that only the bottom folded up, why idk but the old system was much better.

The main reason that I got a Scab was so that the dog would be able to move around more freely than if up front. But now with a daughter, and a damn rear facing car seat, I wish that I had a Screw. The S-cab is fine when it is just me, the wife and daughter. But if we take the dog anywhere there just isn't enough room, plus then the dog is sitting on the seat, which is just a pet peeve of mine.

I'm interested. I believe mine is light gray as well....can you pm me a picture? Mine was damaged with bad water stains when the 3rd brake light leaked lots of water into my cab. I have an 04 XLT Supercab so hopefully it'll bolt right in.

Where are you located?

i had my back seat out for over a year. i built a false floor and back wall but i finally got tired of having people ride in the middle up front, so i put mine back in. one thing i learned is that those 3 nuts and 1 bolt on the back floorboard hold the cab down. i left mine off the whole time the seat was out and i used to hear a banging noise when i was on rough roads. it sounded like the muffler was loose and hitting something, but it was the cab.

Here's a wild and stupid thought: "Some people buy extended cabs because they HAVE KIDS!!!"

Hey guys...

RALgolf, I'm up here in Nor Cal... about 2700 miles from you I believe :-(
But anyway, they are what Ford calls "premium cloth".

Edgespeeder, yes, I will PM you a photo now. Yes, it should bolt right in, but as several have said (and I will certainly back) those 3 big main bolts are a beee-otch ! They are the type that are tight all the way out ! you might be able to leave those bolts alone, and use the existing floor brackets if you were lucky. But I'm giving these to whoever buys the seats anyway.

BigChief, yea, that would be a PITA.... but in the year I've had mine, I've only needed space for 1 passenger maybe 15 times.... and probably 13 of those times was for a stereo demo. Never once have I had to sit somebody in the center. In fact, if anybody asked, I'd probably tell them > "You have a car don't you" ?
Like I always say > I ALWAYS have my seat ! It's the front left one

Xperties, sure..... and being able to tell their wife > Look ! It has back seats for the kids < is probably how they are able to get it in the first place. But once they get it, they rarely put the kids back their. They SAY they do..... but I have this thing about looking for passengers in the back seats of S-Cabs and Crew Cabs. And when I actually see it, its like, Holy @#$# ! Take a picture ! I can't freaking believe it ! I swear, it's litterally fewer than 1 in 20.

Peace,
Fish

Hey thanks....I just really want to swap the cloths off that seat and onto mine so I probably wont need anything else but for a good price it would be great.
