My new Setup!

Hi guys!

as some of you might know , I have been using my truck as a weekend toy in sand dunes for quite some time , and last time when i got stuck (because of the small tires) , some smart guy pulled and i went into his bumper , so i went to a guy who custom-make bumpers around here for almost all 4x4's , took around 1 week for creating brackets and the bumper and installing them, still am not sure about it's piant (thinking of painting it matt black), after that i throw some nice sand tires on there (not sure of the size in inch but maybe around 33's), thos tires are unburstable (well that's what i keep hearing).

Now the only thing that am slightly not liking is the somhow big bumper , well it's iron , so street lamps won't hurt me!! lol

Anyway , less of words , more of pictures! tell me what do think about it!!

Before:

having fun with the old tires! haha

The After!!

yep , thos bad boys sticks out so badly , no rubing though...

exuce my mom's base model focus.. she like her!!

i was worried regarding the ball-joints , they seems fine...

full-lock

so what do guys think? am very happy with it now , maybe i will add an Xcal3 and that's it.... till the lift kit!!!

I think it looks pretty good. It's not that big. Do yall have a line-x dealer? haha. Might be a dumb question. But it would look pretty sweet coated in line-x.

Did he make the bumper too?

Hey, the truck looks good. With regards to the Line-X, I think they meant to Line-X the bumpers, not just the bed.

Looks good, I didn't even notice your bumper at first haha. Your tires seem extremely overinflated though, what PSI are you running?

Interesting tires. They looks like across between jet tires and trailer tires. More info on those please. Bumpers look good. Time to get that thing lifted, and a locker too.

lol can't wait to get him lifted!

well here are some raw facts regarding the tires:

-Brand: Hero
-Material: Written "Nylon" , but i have been tolled by many that inner surface is Slick with strength out steel layer to give it this "overinflated-look"
-Size: well it's written 9.00-17 , the 17 is definitely the wheels size (100% sure) , but the 9.00 is more likely came from the Trucks tires measurements, i have seen them in 24.00-24 or 26.00-24 , it's somthing like the hight and/or the load capability... i once saw on an little rav4 8.00-16 which where smaller than mine....
-Can be used on which wheel?: saw them on the 5.5J steelies , all the way to the new Chevy Silverado 18"s... Just fill them with air and they streatch to the wheels width...
-Where to use them?: sand or street... some guys use them to bicycle example:
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k3...00/vtc2zo7.jpg

not interested in that stuff

Max PSI : 55 but some people go 70 agian for bicycle purposes.. am using 50 PSI....
Performance : in sand they are excellente (tall , smooth pattern and once you run them on low PSI , the tire will spread widly on sand = more traction) , in the street they bite dengrous , the car will have more chance to tip over and the steering reaction is slightly slower... it's a truck anyway...

Wish the bumper had helped your approach angle. Won't matter if you lift it though. Take it back and have him cut out for some 6" lights.
