New Here

Hey everyone,
My name is Brad Marshall. I have been reading the forums for a long time. I have a 2005 Ford F150, that is black. Right now i have 36000 miles on it with the stock tires, a 2.5 leveling kit, true dual straight pipes, Edge programmer, and thats about it for now. I am 20 years old work at a place making the big windtower bases.

The forums have been great for me so I thought i would join up.

A couple questions I have are.
Lift-
I want a 6 inch lift kit. What brand, what stlye, I know nothing about lift kits. I have done more with my mustang than my truck. Also is it hard to install lifts? I am pretty mechanicaly inclined. I have pretty much changed everything in my car as far as motor, tranny, suspension.

Rims-
I see alot of people going with Moto Metal 951's. I love them. I would like to know what everyone thinks as far as size with a 6 inch lift?

Tires- I am going to go with the Mickey Thompson Baja Mtz. 35's

Thanks in advace for everyones input.
Brad

welcome!

lift- there is a lot of good ones out there. a lot of people run the procomp for its price, but i personally like the fabtech kit as far a a 6in goes...

what rim size do you want? then we can give you width a backspacing advice. fyi 35s have a big price difference from a 17 to a 20

good tire choice. i would also look at the cooper stt.its a great tire and is very competitively priced (iirc cooper also makes the mickeys)

Can't help ya with the lift, and I don't have the Mickey MT's but I do have the Baja ATZ's and LOVE them. Check out my 10sec stang (link in sig) when you're looking for something to do....

Oh, and welcome to the site!

Welcome! Sounds like you have a good plan. I would go with a Fabtech 6" lift, and yes those 951s look excellent. One of my favorite trucks from this site (kickassfx4) ran that combo for a while:
