In Vehicle Temp Sensor Location?

today is the day i try to switch to EATC (Electroic Automatic Temperature Control) so i can get AC back now that i have a Lariat Cluster installed.
I know the temp sensor goes behind the slots in the cluster bezel but where does the white air flow tube attached to it connect?
a picture would be amazing, thanks.

k here is another question.....
I have the EATC module in, temp sensor wired NOW how do i get the AC to work?
i dont see anything refering to ac demand signal on the EATC module's two wring conections and I know that the Lariat cluster no longer takes responsibility for that so
what does?

thanks

i found one part of my answer and I thought id post since im talking to myself most of the time on this forum.

"At the Instrument Cluster you move pin# 2 (AC Demand) from the smaller connector (C220B) to Pin#29 (UBP Bus) of the larger connector (C220A)..

Then at the HVAC Controller you move Pin# 3 (AC Demand) of the larger connector (C249A) to Pin#12 (UBP bus) on the new smaller connector (C228B) of the EATC

The color of the wire is VT (violet)."

here is my source;
https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...e-control.html

now my doors no longer register as "open" and that presents problems like my radio staying on and no interior lights.....
I should have spliced into wire #29 vs cut and install...ill be home in a week to try it then. (yup fixed it)

Have you progressed with this at all? I'm interested in attempting this.

I havent got around to working on it yet. I know that if i did it again i wouldnt bother with the temp sensor since it is not actually required to work.

You solved the AC problem I found while going over the drawings. What did you do for the 18 pin connector? Didn't get 1 with mine and think it may be a show stopper til I find 1. I want to hook up my heated mirrors and install some heated seats at the same time. Then the memory seats are going in. Thought all that crap came standard with the FX4 package but nooooo you need the Lariat + up to get it

I cut the connector out of a focus at a junk yard. I still have to get around to the fan controller. Anyone do that yet?

I looked at the drawings and it looks straight forward. Have to pick 1 up but I plan on mounting it over the hole the old resistor pack is because all the wire will be there except for pin 18 of the second connector which is used to operate the unit.

so let me get this right, you spice the #2 wire from small connector to #29 on the large one and splice #3 from the large connector to #12 on the small connector and you AC clutch works fine?

Im thinking about making the swap from my XLT cluster to the Lariat one myself. Am I going to need the interior air temp sensor and the electronic climate control board or would I be able to keep my manual one?
