I don't know about that.. I've offroaded my truck a few times pretty hardcore doing some rock crawling, hill climbs, mud etc. My truck is still good as new, (knock on wood). with heavy *** 38s. I see what you're getting at but 37s isn't the limit. I'd say 40s is getting into crazyland. But thats why my next truck will be a F250 probably

Maybe, but you could have gotten lucky with that. With heavy 38s at the suspension angles that you are running, I wouldn't feel comfortable especially with the stuff I do (personal opinion I guess). I offroad often for hunting and firewood runs, I'd hate to break down miles up an old logging road that is hard to get to.

But I guess for just rolling around on the street most of the time you can do bigger than 37s without many issues. The F250 with solid front would make me more comfortable though.

i am sure his truck doesn't ride that bad.. he did do a custom lift for the rear with coil-overs. and i am sure if he is going to pay that much attention to the rear he will for the front. and i am sure if he is gonna put that much into his truck he will get bigger gears as well. not saying its smart to put huge tires on a stock axle but at least the gears help

Yes it is. It's just up the road from me. It looked familiar & then I saw the Hamilton Mill sign & the Starbucks tower in the background!

It would be sick if he would have swapped in a dana 60 in front and a 1 ton rear-he could have probably have done that for about the same price just more labor. but that 1/2 drivetrain just looks scary to me

I knew that area looked familiar as well. I'm live in Lawrenceville but I'm in the Dacula/Auburn/Hamilton Mill area all the time.

I think the truck in question looks good with the exception that it's a Chevy. I don't prefer that size of lift nor the size of tires but to each his own. I prefer a 6-8in lift with 35-37in tires.

I think that might be a bit overkill right there

Found the Specs and some more pictures of this truck. Not a bad price if you want a huge Chevy!
