Nothing Like This To Make Me Want a Lift

I was driving down the road today and dwarfed by this guy
My truck is by no means huge, but this made me feel like I was in a car and makes me really want to look into that 6" and some 37"s if they would fit. The tires on this truck had to be atleast 44s and they were mounted on Rockstars.

i wonder how his 1/2 ton suspension is holding up with that setup. I bet he has to replace his ball joints every oil change.

I don't know what the legal height in Ga is. There may not even be one. As far as the suspension and drivetrain there wasnt a stock part under that truck.

There is a lot of aftermarket parts involved in lifting a truck that high, but look at the rear axle. That is definetely a 1/2 ton rear axle judging by the diff. The front is still ifs aswell

There's all kinds of trucks like that down here in AZ, but they're usually the ones that park at the beginning of the trail and ride with someone else whos rollin 35s with solid axles front and rear

That is a nice looking truck tho none the less

Legal? There's illegal lift heights in other states? There's 4-5 street driven trucks on 54s in our little area west of Houston. With many many more running 38+ inch tires, myself included.

Yeah I'm pretty sure here in Illinois you can't have over a 37 on the street legally. Not 100% positive on that though. I do know you can have no more than 3" of body lift, and for my truck by front bumper can't be higher than 27 inches and the rear 29.

lots of lift, but a poorly built truck

looks like a 10 bolt rear axle...maybe a 12 bolt. And it still has that horrific Chevy IFS. You think the Ford IFS is bad, check out the nightmares they have.

Way overkill IMO. I see Taco's like that everyday out here. Never understood it. Rig is too high off the ground for anything but Mud Bogging

man big huge trucks like that are so fun, let me tell you...but you had better have some DEEEEEP pockets. my old 04 screw had 15 inches on it with 41's and every 2 months i replaced the tie rods and ball joints no joking.
