where to buy OEM PTM handles
Does anyone know if they make the LT handles with the drivers door keypad? Looked all over the internet including Tasca's website and can't find a part number? All the ones I find appear to be without the keypad option?
All the true LT handles have the keypad in the drivers handle already, doesn't matter what color you choose, they are all like that. Even the PTM handles have the keypad, the ford ones anyway. The cheap ebay knockoffs may have the holes there for a keypad, but they require you to reuse your existing keypad.

If you could also get a price to paint the the skull caps of the towing mirrors to? Part numbers for them are 7L3Z-17D743-BA 7L3Z-17D742-BA all would be black clear coat (UA)
i would be interested in this aswell, let me know

For anyone that cares to know here are the prices Domenic gave for painting
Not a bad deal at all.....For 125.00 I can have my mirror caps and door handles done.
Just finished talking with the body shop manager, this is what we can do. Pricing is for small parts (like handles, mirrors, mirror covers and small moldings)
1 Part = $ 65.00
2 parts = $ 80.00
3 parts = $ 90.00
4 parts = $100.00
5 parts = $125.00

Did you ever get a price on the actual handles themselves? All I can find on their website are the LT handles already painted? And Lincoln never used my paint code. Where are the primed ones they were talking about?

Here are the part numbers from another post by RockPick.
And here are the ones for the skull caps.
Those part numbers come up a little cheaper then the ones in the link by budha, still seems like a lot for a door handle.......

SKULL CAPS FOR STANDARD MIRRORS
7L3Z-17D743-BA
7L3Z-17D742-BA
Those caps will not fit the standard XLT style mirrors, They only fit the FX2, Harley and FX4 luxury mirrors, The ones that came factory with painted skull caps. Here is what they look like

I thought they would fit my mirrors until I got them, luckily Dom at tasca took them back and refunded my money cause I *******ed up and ordered the wrong part. The standard XLT style mirrors have a one piece skull cap/front housing. There is 4 screws under the mirror glass that hold the front and rear half together. The paintable caps are only from the parting line up and clip into place, they require a totally different mirror housing.

Good point, I forgot to mention that.
I have read these forums for several years now and continue to be dumbfounded why people insist on buying "primed" handles vs. just painting the black ones they already have on their truck. I had mine sanded/painted at a local body shop CHEAPER than just buying the damn handles themselves. Makes no sense. And I got the EXACT same result.
If the body shop knows what they are doing they will turn out the same. A co-worker of mine has an F-150 too and we both had them painted at the same place several years ago and they are still holding.
Paid $225 to have them painted. The place is called Maitland Auto Body in Winter Park, FL 407-673-4747 Ask for Carlos
