Roofing Nails - Drats!!

Somehow I became the victim of a dreaded roofing nail in my tire. Who knows how long it has been in there. I'm figuring 2-3 months because the head is just worn off flush with the tire. How I found out was I noticed my truck driving rather different this morning, but I didn't think too much of it. So I got to work, and I look at the front left tire first. I notice it kind of bulging. I figured because I was parked on an incline, the weight was shifted to the left tires. Didn't think too much of it. So I got out of work, and I drove home. I then decided to check the pressure in my tires, and behold I found that the pressure in my front left was at 26 psi. I was like..?!

So I'm looking at the tire for nails or screws or even glass. I didn't see too much, so I decided to jack the truck up so I could rotate the wheel. I got the truck up and I'm looking and looking, and I found it on the inside.

I took the wheel off and I'll have to get it plugged or patched tomorrow.

My tire has slowly been leaking for the past few weeks. I finally located the culprit, lol. Was a nail. It had worn down to where you couldnt really see it anymore, lol. Im taking it in today to get repaired.

Yeah I had the same problem. We just finished reroofing our house and i got a nail in my tire. I guess it finally fell out of the tire. I woke up a few mornings ago and had like no air in the tire. I aired it up and drove it, they patched it. Good as new.
