will a 06 bumper work on a 05?

my truck is at the body shop and i would like to get rid of the rectangle fogs and go to round has anyone done this?

You'll need all supports and brackets from the 06 bumper as well The 05 supports and brackets won't work on an 06 bumper.

theres quite a few threads on the bumper swaps, one guy is FX4&EXCURSION i believe, he made a list of part #'s and etc.

its fairly east to take off the bumper, just need an extra set of hands.

you will need the upper valance brackets at least. the upper valence is fine but the brackets holding on will not fir with the 05 bumper. you can by the brackets for it seperately which I plan on doing. But in the meantime I just gutted the upper valence and used some sheetmetal strips to attatch to the main bumper. The side still need to be bolted to the body either way.

I went from 06 to 05. but it seems to be the same either way.

Keep the rectangular fogs, they look much better.
