Getting Codealarm to autolock?

How do you get the codealarm to lock the vehicle after you walk away.

I can't seem to find it in the instructions.

A little off topic, but sometimes my CA-671 does not always lock when I hit the lock button on the remote. The remote will show that it is locked but the doors do not actually lock. Should I just be checking the connection or could it be the module not sending the pulse?

Here's the deal. Originally we were able to connect the light blue with red stripe wire from the Code system to the pink with black stripe wire of the truck to allow us to be able to arm the alarm system via pressing 7 and 9 on the keypad. I have found that there is a conflict with this wire from some reason. Something in the brain has a problem with it. If this light blue with red stripe wire is disconnected then everything works fine. You can still disarm the alarm with the keypad but in order to arm the alarm you MUST use the transmitter. I simply hit arm, toss it in the console and close the door.

That problem has been taken care of when I orginally hooked it it we had that issue. I have since disconnected that wire but occasionally it still does not lock when I press the lock button on the transmitter. This is why i am thinking loose connection to the lock wire. Any other thoughts?

My CA-670 does the same(locks all doors except drivers) so i just use the door keypad and it works just fine and use the remote to unlock just fine. It's a pain sometimes but it works all the time doing it this way and when i first got it from travis we tried everything even a new brain and still the same so i just got use to doing it this way.

Yeah, after....say 30 seconds (just an example) after we shut off the truck and walk away it auto arms itself.

Kinda funny you guys mention the problems with the locking. The system seems to be acting up. Maybe just needs a new battery. I'm going to have to check.
