Man my goodyears used to leave me in a bad spot all the time, so I got my Terra Grapplers since I'm mostly on the street but they have been in axle deep mud and handled really good.

I have a hard time believing you were really stuck if a taurus could pull you out. Looks like to me a little rocking and wheel speed could have got you out of that.

Keep your front tires pointed straight, and you can most likely get out. As soon as you start turning your front tires you will get stuck.

Makes it easier to get traction when the truck doesn't have to push the front tires through the mud sideways.

I've seen them on 2wd trucks even and they work just as good as 4wd trucks to some extent. Now that's a good tire.

But I had a set of Goodyears A/T tires on my suv a while back, which was 4x4, and it left me stuck in 3 inches of snow. I've never been too fond of Goodyear, except for their Eagle tires. But even them... eh... I got a set on my Dakota, and they are average.

My terra grapplers are great in the mud, if they fill up you just hammer on it, they fling mud everywhere, clean themselves out and take off

You should have kept the driver's side in the green and you wouldn't have sunk in the mud puddle.

I agree on the Terra Grapplers. Many members here have had great results with them.

ya'll can believe whatever you want but we were stuck and tried everything to get out. like i said my brother has a lot of experience in getting equipment unstuck and even he couldn't get it to budge.

yea stealth we realized that after wards but like i said we just misjudged the muddiness of the passenger side and that's why we slipped and got stuck.

Why does it look like that since the mud was over to the right and there was plenty of room to the left that you purposely hit the mud?

You said you only have a few thousand miles left on the tires? Did that mean you had very little tread left? No matter how good the tire, tread depth is the name of the game...
