I have an 08 Fx2 and i was wondering if the seats are leather or vinyl and does it make a difference whether u use a leather cond. on vinyl?

they either came cloth or optional leather.

 

I thought it was a vinyl trimmed in leather. Vinyl for the main seat with the surround pieces being leather.

 

My FX2 is all leather.

 

almost 3 yrs of using Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, and it looked great...Leather or Vinyl, it looked just fine
that is what I've been told by many people


but I cannot find anything to disprove it...or prove it.


So I just pretend that my Leather seats are 100% leather and let it go.

 

As I understand it, the seating surface on the front seats (butt-pocket, bolsters and corresponding parts of the seat back) are leather. The sides, back and all of the back seat are vinyl. KR may be different, I don't know about that one. In my truck it's plainly obvious...front is a different texture and stiffness.
