Im sure i could make it happen ill even call that part the squirt mod.

single pole double throw switch. I had one on my amp override switch, so it would turn the amp off, then turn a light on that would let me know its off.

Basically a single switch with 6 spades on the back. Then wire it up accordingly

I would like to thank Porky81 for his how to on v6f150 its what gave me the idea.
http://www.v6f150.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17067

HERES HOW ITS DONE.

Remove the dash bezel

Unhook this booger it gets me every time

This should be close to how yours look.

Flip this up, watch for the little catch

Get this one to.

Last one undo the 12v socket

This should be close to what you have. No try to make the next few pieces look like mine, you will probably destroy the excess like i did.

Now pop the panel out

Pull the socket out, its a pain but it will pop out

Make it look like this, you can most likley make it look better but i did mine with pliers and tin snips\

Tear the lighter its self apart now, if you cut it so that the bevel still tapers in it will act like the nut and hold the switch

that is soo cool. I found 3 of those switches in a drawer on my work bench just the other day. started to through them away, but decided to keep them. and my wife is always asking me why I always keep junk that I might never use. now I know what to use one of them for. just waiting on a write up now.
