Doors Creaking

My driver and passenger doors will creak while going over any little bumps in the road. Its kinda loud sometimes. Is there a fix I heard it was a known problem.

Have you tried some XL-5 Multi-Purpose Grease from FCSD Chemicals and Lubricants?

You can get it from your local Ford Parts store under the Ford Part Number: XL-5 or you can alternatively get the XG-4 (FAD).

The XL-5 is a 11.5 oz spray can of it... this one I highly recommend because it really gets the grease in the door jams well. The XG-4 (FAD) comes in a 4 oz caulker's tube and great for lubricating seat tracks for example where the spray from the XL-5 might ruin the carpeting or other surfaces.

It's for:

*Outstanding general-purpose grease for use on metal surfaces such as door hinges, seat tracks and deck lid hinges
*Continues to lubricate long after application
*Not affected by wide temperature operating ranges
*Amber color

Or the alternative (non-Ford/Motorcraft) is standard White Lithium grease available at any parts store, hardware store, or pretty much any place where lube grease is sold.

If it is creaking while closed, it is the door and rubber rubbing a bit. Get some silicone spray used to keep auto weather stripping soft and pliable. Use that on the rubber.

Yes exactly... at least I think it is the door because at times I can replicate the sound by pulling on the door. It is a low tone creak that happens going over small bumps or sometimes turning. I will try that. Thanks!
