Saddest Pics I've taken in a while
with what?
when you fill out the credit app, part of the fine print gives them the ability to represent you to a Bank and pull your credit score.
I had to fill one out to finish the Ford Financing process...never thought it would get used otherwise
You live and learn. Never gonna make that mistake again for sure.
What that Honolulu Ford did was highly unethical...but not illegal. I've got a survey from Ford asking me to rate the Dealership. I plan on raking them up and down the coals on that

the deal was finalized, but Ford refused to follow through with the Pre-Approval they had given me.
So the Dealership spent 9 days submitting my info to multiple banks before bothering to tell me...8+ banks to date that I know about. After giving up, they told me to bring the Expy back...that is when I offered up my truck.
When we switched out the trades (F-150 for the Durango), and the Negative Equity disapeared...not to mention the F-150 was worth more than I owed on it, the Banks were falling all over themselves to finance me.
I blame Obamanomics. The damn bank stress tests have them all freaked out. So the lending rules are extremely strict...draconion strict
at least some good news of a sort...I had to revisit the Dealership again today. They inversed some info on some papers...But, I got them to fill-up the Expy for free...take that mother f'ers. 27 gallons at $2.50 a gallon.

made me slightly happy inside
Damn sorry to hear about all of the issues you had, well at least I know what dealership I'm NOT going to if I'm ever in the market for a new car. I ride my road bike down your street several times so I'll be sure to check out the Expy on one of my rides. Hard to believe both our trucks are gone in the same week. Sad, sad times.

sounds like a married man...or a very smart single guy
yes, same frame
so the interior specs are damn near identical...the extra space comes from the 3rd row seating.
the 3rd row can seat 3 adults comfortably...so a total of 8 passengers if you have the Normal Expy...I bought an EL which is 18" longer, and I have Bucket seats in the middle...so 7 passenger seating
huh? so I'd have 1 vehicle total...the Expy?
I need 2 vehicles. The truck gave me an additional $1,000 off the final purchase price, and about $5,000 less financed total (once Durango negative equity was removed)
So I'm stuck with the Durango...it only has minor issues...but it is a Dodge.
why is everybody in this country so ready to sue somebody
what happened was unethical and an extremely poor sales tactic...but nothing illegal occured.
btw, they didn't even bother to tell my salesman about the whole issue. I got to tell him myself yesterday when I was re-signing some papers they had messed up.
