Starting and Idle problems

OK whats is wrong with my truck this is getting annoyning as hell.

First remember back about my idle problem- while sitting at a light the truck had a hard time staying running- it wanted to die and then cleared itself...

Now i have a problem starting it. Sometimes itll start fine other times itll try to start but its like something is forcing it not to- i let off on the key and wait 5 sec and try it again- still wont start. Wait another 5 sec and then it starts.

I been pissed off at ym remote starter lately thinking its malfuntioning because my truck wont be running when i get out there but now i know its not the remote starter- it does it with the actual key too.

Is this possible from the security chip in the truck not seeing the key right and disabling the truck from starting.

I have no clue and its getting old why this truck is doing this.

Mine does the same thing. When it doesn't start it acts like it's flooded, right? Same thing when it's trying to die at a light. Like it's getting too much gas. Mine was built in 12/05 so I'm thinking I have the bad batch of injectors. Could never get it to do it for the dealer and the warranty ran out in March. There must be a way to find out if it's the same bad batch of injectors.

If it was the PATS system then it wouldn't turn over. When was the fuel filter last changed? Could be the fuel pump, dirty injectors or a dirty throttle plate.

An easy way to see if injectors are bad or not working right. You can take a long head screw driver put the tip on the top of the injector, then your ear on the other end, you will be able to hear them see if they all sound the same, if one or two sound different they might be bad or not working right

So when you go to start up the truck do it try to start up for a wile then starts after a wile?
If so it might be a bad bypass value in the fuel pump, check your fuel pressure. Wifes expo had a bad bypass value and it would take 10 secs or so to start. The bypass value keepsthe fuel in the line so there is pressue so when you start it there is fuel. Bad bypass value was letting fuel go back to tank and when you cranked it took 10 or more sec for fuel to go up the lines to engine.
