Alignment after Leveling Kit

I had a 2" AS leveling kit installed 2 weeks ago and then took my truck to 4wheel parts to have it aligned. The alignment was better but not perfect. The truck drifted slightly to the right. Planned on taking it back but Tuesday when backing out of a parking space at full lock I heard a loud pop / bang and the alignment was way off. Steering wheel had to be turned 1/8 turn to left to keep straight and the truck drifted right bad. Took it back to 4wheel parts and the cam bolt slipped on the left side so they re aligned. First question. Should I be concerened about the quality of their work since the cam bolt just slipped under basically no load? Second question. Alignment still isn't perfect. Truck is still drifting to the right and when I take my hands off the wheel the wheel settles slightly to the right while going straight but still drifts to the right.

Shouldn't I expect better than this? Or is close enough what I should expect.

I'd get away from that 4wheel parts store. Also, this may sound funny, but have you checked your tire pressure?

I haven't heard much good about 4wheelparts. Their prices are high, and from what I have seen and heard, their work is sub-par. I know I won't ever do business with them...

The shop I used after I installed my level kit didn't get it right the first time either. I took it back to them after about 2 weeks of being busy and putting up with it. They fixed it no questions asked. If it's still pulling you should either make them try again or go to another shop. There is no reason it shouldn't be dead on!

I installed my leveling kit back in November of last year and had it aligned a few days later. Tracks perfectly straight with 305/55/20's.

You can find some good deals sometimes at 4WP. Just dont let them work on your vehicle. EVER!

Your truck will naturally drift right because of the crown in the road. Find an old county road and drive smack down the middle of it and see if it still drifts.

On a good road your truck shouldn't drift at all, should drive straight and true. In theory you should be able to let go of the wheel at 100 mph (don't try)! Take it back an make them fix it, and let them know your pissed! This is your life and everyone's life you drive around they are dealing with. I would let them know that!

cam bolts??!!damn all they had to do was a simple toe adjustment.i would either make them give your money back(very unlikely)or make for damn sure they fix it and never look back.

Try a shop that does nothing but large truck (ex: dump trucks) work and alignments. Here where I live there is a shop like that and i have had 3 other ford trucks aligned plus my camaro by them and never had a issue and they drive straight.

I had to have the cam kits for both sides. They initially put it on the driver's side and it pulled rediculous left. I took it back and they put the other side on...now its perfect and the tires are wearing very even.

This is Completely False.

A properly aligned vehicle should not drift AT ALL, be it a truck or a car. If yours drifts, then you better have it checked cause your tires are going to wear/cup prematurely.

It truly amazes me when folks just blurt stuff like that out.

Again, a PROPERLY aligned vehicle should NOT DRIFT at all!

Not only that, it's quite irritating to drive a car that pulls - gets old real fast.
