2007 18" FX4 wheels on STX, Will they fit?

I have an opportunity to purchase 2007 18" FX4 wheels to upgrade my stock 17" 2007 STX chrome wheels. Would like to know if they will fit and if there is anything to look out for.

They will mount up. Do you have a 4x4 also?

Bolt pattern is the same on 2wd and 4wd. Wheels should fit fine. What size tires are you going with?

The ad says "BFG Rugged Trail T/A P275/65 R18 114T M&S. With less than 500 miles".

If you want them I would talk to the guy and ask him if you could mount one in the front just to see if it will clear and tell him if it works you will take them.

Sounds like they are the OEM wheel and tire. I don't think there would be any problem fitting them on your truck. But test fitting one like 05supercrew suggested couldn't hurt. I'm not sure your gonna love that tire though. Those BFG rugged trail were original equipment on my wifes Eddie Bauer Explorer and I couldn't stand them. The rode rough and were noisy as all get out for an all terrain type tire. We changed over to Michelin and it was a night and day difference. But if the price is right then go for it!

They will fit for sure. The largest tire a 2wd could fit is a 285, you'll be alright.

Thank you all for your responses. My concerns are more about the differences between 4wd vs. 2wd. If the bolt pattern is the same what about spacing? would that make any difference?

Nope. All '04+ are 6x135mm lug pattern, and 5.71" backspacing. All OEM wheels are interchangable.

Well I did it. I had them installed earlier today. They look great but now there is a small glitch. The tire pressure light is now on. Before I had them installed I spoke to the guy at Big-O tires about my concern that the TPMS system may need to be reset or reprogrammed (as I had read in this forum) He argued that there was no need for that and now... sure enough the light is on. Has anyone had this issue and how can it be resolved (short of taking it to the dealer).

take the sensors and bands off of your stock wheels and transfer them over
