That color is pretty rare here in PA. I love it though, its my favorite color ford has ever made. Believe it or not.

As soon as I saw it (on an Explorer at that time)...I loved it. I absolutely love it with the Arizona Beige two tone beneath it on my 05 King Ranch! It is my belief that the newer version (Stone Green) of the original (Dark Stone)...shines and sparkles a little more. They are very close side by side...but the Stone Green seems a TINY bit lighter and twinkles a little more. Some disagree, but I love them both the same

Since this was my thread I figured i would add a pic too with fairly new painted bumpers, handles and mirrors.

I want my handles and mirrors painted to match! What is the most economical way of doing it? Did you do it yourself?

No I had a buddy do them at his body shop. The best thing to do is try and find the smoothed handles at somewhere like autoanything.com. This will really help with cutting down sanding time.

Mine on a cloudy day. I think dark Stone over Arizone beige was heavily featured in Ford's advertising materials since it coordinates so close to the standard interior colors.

I have an 07' dark stone with pueblo gold lariat and my favorite thing about it is the color. It really stands out even though there are 1000000 dark stone explorers in North Jersey. Hey at least its a 150.

Logical, we have the exact same truck! Good taste!

My 08 Stone Green... was not my favorite color when i bought it, but love it now. I am always being asked if it is a custom paint job. Not to mention i have the only lifted stone green f150 in my town.

Tool box has been removed.

Another angle

I think they only made the Arizona Beige for 2 yrs... is that right?... i dont see that many full on AZ's in my neck of the woods.....

thats what keeps me dif~.... not two tone...... i wanted the midnight blue... but they only had silver and AZ... i took AZ to dress it up with camo/black..... i think it works.
